History

Jim started a little shop in Chico, CA and prided himself on bringing a little slice of Chicago to the area. Mamma Celeste's is named in honor of his Grandmother, Celeste Parente. His Uncle Nick owned a famous pizzeria in the city of Chicago on the south side. Rosangela’s Pizzeria has been in the same location on 95th Avenue and California for over 50 years. He wanted to bring some of his family’s home cooking to the golden state of California and now he is doing just that in Paradise, CA. Rosangela's famous “cracker crust”, the signature red pizza sauce, and his grandmother Celeste's meatballs have been bringing love to one tummy at a time for half a century.

He recently married and now the whole family is looking forward to you enjoying handmade corn meal "cracker crust" pizza's, huge calzones, perfect Italian beefs and so much more in a new, larger location.

Please enjoy love the Italian way; through your belly! ~ Jim Flanagan
